Create your first poll

1.Open the Polls tool in your control deck.
2.Type your question and up to several answer options.
3.Pick a layout (bars or chart) and an accent color.
4.Assign it to a deck key so it is one press away on stream.

Let viewers vote by QR or code

1.Turn on “Show QR” so the join code and QR appear on the poll card.
2.Viewers scan the QR or open kloot.gg/join and enter the code.
3.They tap a choice — votes appear on your overlay instantly.

Style the live results

1.Choose whether to show vote counts, percentages, or both.
2.Turn on “Highlight leader” to spotlight the front-runner.

Polls — frequently asked

How do viewers vote in a Kloot poll?

They scan the QR code on the poll card or open kloot.gg/join and enter the short join code, then tap their choice. There is no chat command to learn and no bot to authorize.

Does it work on YouTube, Kick, and TikTok — not just Twitch?

Yes. Because voting happens through a QR / join code rather than a platform’s chat, the same poll works on Twitch, YouTube Live, Kick, TikTok Live, or even an in-person event. Kloot runs as a browser source, so it is platform-agnostic.

Do polls open automatically based on channel events?

No — and that is by design. You fire and close every poll yourself from the deck on your browser or phone, so a poll never pops up unexpectedly while you are mid-moment.

Do I need to add another browser source for polls?

No. Polls run through the same single Kloot overlay URL as every other tool. If your overlay is already in your OBS scene, polls are already wired in.

Can I style the poll to match my overlay?

Yes. Choose a bar or chart layout, your accent color, the on-screen position, whether to show counts and percentages, whether to highlight the leader, and the reveal animation.
