Questions

Do I need OBS?

You need streaming software that takes a browser source, such as OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop. Kloot adds one Browser source; the deck you press runs in your browser or on your phone.

Will it slow my stream?

Kloot is one browser source, the same kind OBS uses for alert boxes. What it draws depends on what you put on screen: a counter or a lower third is a small web page; a moving background is more.

Does Kloot read my chat or need my login?

No. Kloot never reads your chat and never asks for your Twitch, YouTube or OBS password. You sign in to Kloot itself with Google or Twitch, and your overlay is one link you paste into OBS.

Can I run it from my phone?

Yes. Your deck opens in your phone’s browser, the same signed-in deck rather than an app, so you can press keys while the game stays fullscreen.
