The wheel takes 7 seconds to settle — the same as on a stream, so the room has time to react.

Is this giveaway wheel really free?

Yes — no account, no email, no limit on spins. It runs entirely in your browser, so the names never reach a server. It is the same wheel component Kloot renders on a streamer’s overlay, which is why it looks like a broadcast graphic rather than a form.

How it works

  1. 1Paste your names, one per line. Chat exports and spreadsheet columns both work.
  2. 2Press Spin. The wheel decelerates and lands on one name.
  3. 3Remove the winner and spin again for a second prize, or reset and start over.

Questions people ask

Do you store the names I paste?
No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. Close the tab and it is gone — there is no account to delete because there is no account.
How many names can it handle?
A few hundred spins comfortably. Past about sixty names the individual slices get too thin to read on a stream, which is why Kloot itself switches to a vertical reel above that count.
Is the spin actually random?
It uses your browser’s random number generator, which is fine for picking a name among friends. If you need to be able to *prove* a draw was fair to a sceptical audience, that is a different problem — Kloot publishes a receipt for each draw that commits to the seed before entries close.
Can I put this wheel on my stream?
You can share this tab as a window in OBS. What it cannot do is collect entries: you have to paste the names yourself. Kloot’s version puts a QR code on your overlay so viewers add themselves.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. There are no further network calls, so a flaky connection mid-stream will not interrupt a spin.
