Setup

Add it to Streamlabs Desktop in five steps

  1. 1

    Copy your overlay URL

In Kloot, open Settings → Overlay and copy your Browser source URL. It’s one universal URL — every tool renders through it. (Keep it private.)

  2. 2

Add a Browser Source in Streamlabs Desktop

In the Sources panel, click the +, choose Browser Source, click Add Source, and name it “Kloot”.

  3. 3

Paste the URL and size it

Paste your overlay URL. Set Width to 1920 and Height to 1080 to match your canvas, and tick “Refresh browser when scene becomes active” so it reconnects after a restart.

  4. 4

Put it on top and lock it

Drag the Kloot source above your game capture and camera in the Sources list, then lock it so you don’t nudge it.

  5. 5

Fire a tool to test it

Open your Kloot panel and press any key — it appears on your stream instantly. One source now powers every tool.

Streamlabs Desktop + Kloot — frequently asked

Does Kloot work with Streamlabs Desktop?

Yes. Streamlabs Desktop supports browser sources, so you add Kloot exactly like in OBS — one universal overlay URL pasted into a single Browser Source.

Where do I get my overlay URL?

In Kloot, go to Settings → Overlay and copy the Browser source URL. Paste it into Streamlabs Desktop once; every tool renders through it.

Do I need a separate source per tool?

No — one browser source shows every tool, based on what your panel toggles live.

It’s not updating after a change

Right-click the Kloot source and refresh it (Refresh cache of current page) to force a reload of the latest overlay.

Is the overlay URL safe to share?

No — treat it like a password. If it leaks, rotate the token in Settings → Overlay and re-paste the new URL.

Do I still need OBS?

No — Streamlabs Desktop is your streaming software here. Kloot is just a browser source inside it. (And if you ever switch back to OBS, the same overlay URL works there too.)
