A Sekiro death counter, per boss

Sekiro is a game of walls. Almost nobody’s total death count is interesting, and almost everybody’s Genichiro count is. Segments turn one number into the number for the fight you are actually stuck on, with the best you have ever done underneath it.

How do you show Sekiro deaths per boss?

Add a Deaths counter in Kloot, set the personal best to Fewest, turn on the Segment and PB lines, and press “Next segment” with the boss name as you reach each wall. The overlay reads “Isshin 41 · PB 22” and each fight keeps its own history.

How to set it up for Sekiro

Minimal keeps Sekiro’s HUD readable — the posture bar is the thing viewers are watching, and a boxed counter in the corner competes with it. Two lines is enough when one boss is eating the whole session.

Run it as a collection

Deaths tell chat how hard this fight is. Bosses beaten and your tries on a no-hit tell them how the run is going. Stack all three in one corner and run them from one panel.

  • BossesTally with a goal · a milestone every 5

Nothing here loads itself. Kloot does not read your game — there is no detection and no preset pack. This list is here so you know what is coming; you type the boss name when you reach it, which is also why it works on console, in a mod and after any patch.

Sekiro counters — frequently asked

Can I count deathblows instead of deaths?

Yes — the label is yours and so is what the button means. Some streamers run both: deaths on one counter, deathblows on another, two of the five a Creator plan gives you.

Does a milestone effect interrupt the fight?

No. Effects draw inside the counter’s own box or along the bottom edge of the frame, never over the play area, and each milestone fires once per run.

Can I undo a miscount?

Press −1. If a mod pressed it, they have an undo of their own — and they can never reset your counter.
