The right sound at the right second is half the joke — the airhorn on the clutch, the sad trombone on the death. Kloot keeps 85 of them in your control deck, so you search for the moment, pin the sound to a key, and press it mid-game. This guide walks the whole path, including the one OBS checkbox that decides whether your viewers hear any of it.
Kloot puts 85 press-to-play sounds in your control deck. Pick one in the Media tool, pin it to a key, and it plays through your one overlay URL in OBS. Free fires 68 sounds with a short Kloot sting; Pro fires all 85 clean and adds repeats, counter sounds and Sound Flows.
What you’ll build
Built-in sounds on deck keys that play on stream through the Kloot browser source you already have.
In your Kloot panel, open the Media tool. The Sound library sits below your own media — every built-in sound, nothing to upload.
Search by moment — “fail”, “win”, “reveal” — or tap a category. Trending shows what streamers press. Star the ones you use and they stay on top, with your last three right below.
The ▶ on a sound plays it on stream right away. To hear a key privately first, open it from your deck (⋯ → Edit) and press ▶ Preview — that plays here only, not on stream.
Press 📌 to pin the sound to your deck. Then open the key (⋯ → Edit) and set its volume so it sits under your mic. Pro adds Repeat, ×2 to ×5 from one press.
Open the properties of your Kloot browser source in OBS and tick “Control audio via OBS”. It is the same single overlay URL you already use — nothing new to add. Without the tick, you hear the sound and your viewers do not.
Press the key on your deck, or on your phone — the deck runs there too. On Pro, ⋯ → Copy webhook gives the key a URL, so a Stream Deck Website action or Streamer.bot can press it for you.
Any key can carry sounds — an emoji rain, a lower third, a screen. Add up to 4 and they play when you press it, so one press is the effect and its sound together.
A death counter can play a sound on every bump, on a count down, at a milestone, on a reset or when a streak climbs. Each moment gets its own sound from the library.
Save up to 5 sounds as one key, played in sequence or layered on top of each other — up to 20 flows. Start from Winner reveal, Fail or Hype train and change them to fit your stream.
Have a sound the library doesn't? Upload your own MP3, OGG or WAV to the Media tool and pin it the same way. Library sounds don't count toward your 2 Free media items (200 on Pro).
Free fires 68 sounds on stream, each ending with a short Kloot sting. Pro ($9/month) fires all 85 clean, including the 17 Pro sounds Kloot recorded itself.
85 built-in sounds, each on a deck key. Search by moment and star your favourites.
Set how loud each sound plays, so it sits under your mic.
One press, the sound several times in a row.
Up to 4 sounds riding on any key, emoji effects included, and sounds on counter bumps, milestones and resets.
Up to 5 sounds as one key, in sequence or layered. Up to 20 flows.
Upload your own and put each on a key. Library sounds do not count toward these.
Yes, 68 of them. On stream, a Free sound ends with a short Kloot sting. Pro ($9/month) plays all 85 clean and adds repeats, sounds on other keys and counters, and Sound Flows.
Yes — anywhere your OBS scene goes. The sound plays through your Kloot browser source, so it reaches whatever platform you stream to.
Kloot never fires anything on its own, and it does not read your chat or your alerts. On Pro, every key has a webhook URL (⋯ → Copy webhook), so a tool like Streamer.bot can press a sound key for you when something happens.
Yes. Upload an MP3, OGG or WAV to the Media tool and pin it like any other sound. Library sounds don't count toward your media items — Free holds 2 of your own, Pro 200.
Pick a sound, pin it, press it mid-game. Free fires 68 of them — no hardware, no second app.
