A death counter, free and in your browser
Press + each time you go down. That is the whole tool. No account, nothing uploaded, and the number is drawn by the same component Kloot renders on a live stream.

Keyboard: + and − to count, R to reset. Nothing is uploaded — close the tab and it is gone.
Ember skin, counting up — the look most death counters end up wearing.
How do you keep a death count while playing?
Press a button each time you die — no game reads your deaths for you reliably across patches, so a person pressing a button is the count that is actually right. This page gives you that button free, in a tab. On stream, a Kloot counter gives you the same button on your phone or a deck key, with the number live on your overlay.
How it works
- 1Leave the tab open on a second screen, or on your phone beside you.
- 2Press + each time you die. Press − if you fat-fingered it.
- 3Reset when you start a new run.
Questions people ask
- Does it read deaths from my game?
- No, and nothing reliable does. Every game reports deaths differently and a patch can break a reader overnight. A person pressing a button works with any game, any emulator and any run, and the count is what actually happened.
- Will it remember my count tomorrow?
- No — this page holds nothing between visits. A Kloot counter does: it keeps an all-time total, and on Creator it keeps a separate count and personal best for every boss you name.
- Can I show this on stream?
- You can window-capture this tab, but it brings the page with it. Kloot’s counter is a transparent overlay you add to OBS once, and you bump it without leaving the game.
- Can my mod press it for me?
- Not on this page — it is one tab, yours alone. On Kloot’s Creator plan you can send a trusted mod or VIP a named invite and they tap +1 from their own phone while you keep both hands on the game.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No account, no email, no limit, nothing stored. The page costs you a tab.
The same counter, on your overlay
This one lives in a browser tab. Kloot’s lives on your stream.
One OBS browser source, bumped from your deck or your phone without alt-tabbing. Free runs one counter live; build up to five. Here are three of the looks it ships with — all drawn by the component below, which is the same one your overlay would use.
