How to put your whole Kloot deck on a Stream Deck

Your Kloot deck is already a set of keys. If you own a Stream Deck, the whole deck can live on it: every key with its icon, its label and, with the plugin, its live count. Nothing to copy per key and nothing to size. Two minutes, once.

Can I put Kloot on a Stream Deck?

Yes, on Pro. Open the Stream Deck sheet in your deck header, type the six-character code into the Kloot plugin on your Stream Deck, and every key lands with its icon and label. Without the plugin, download a profile for your model from the same sheet and double-click it.

What you’ll build

Every key on your Kloot deck on your Stream Deck, in the same order you see on the panel, pressing the same things.

Step by step

    Open the Stream Deck sheet

    In your Kloot panel, press the Stream Deck button in the deck header, next to Share. The sheet shows a six-character code and a device picker.

    The code is good for ten minutes and works once. Press New code if it expires.

    With the plugin: type the code

    Install the Kloot plugin once (the download is on the Stream Deck integration page). In the Stream Deck app, drag Kloot → Load my deck onto a key, type the code, press the key. Your Stream Deck fills with every key on your deck.

    Without the plugin: download a profile

    Pick your Stream Deck model in the sheet and press Download profile. Double-click the file; Stream Deck imports it as a new profile with every key as a Website action that fires in the background.

    This path has no live counts on the keys. Keys still fire.

    Press a key

    A counter key bumps on press and, with the plugin, shows its count and takes a hold for −1. A screen key lights up while the screen is on air. Everything else fires exactly as on the panel; giveaway and poll keys open Kloot.

    Keep it in sync

    With the plugin, keys follow your deck as you change it. With a profile, the sheet shows how many keys changed since your export, so you know when to export again.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • ✕Typing the code after it expired — make a new one, they are free.
  • ✕Importing an old profile after changing the deck; export again when the sheet shows the amber badge.
  • ✕Showing the sheet on stream while the code is visible. The code is single-use and short-lived, but treat it like a password anyway.

Frequently asked

Do I need the plugin?

No. The profile file works with the Website action built into Stream Deck. The plugin adds live counts, hold for −1 and the Counter dial on Stream Deck +.

My deck has more keys than my Stream Deck

Kloot pages them in panel order. The sheet says how many pages before you load or download.

Does it work on Stream Deck +?

The plugin brings a Counter dial for Stream Deck +: turn it to move a counter up or down, press for +1. We test on Stream Deck XL.

A key stopped working

Either the key was removed from your Kloot deck (export again, or with the plugin it disappears by itself), the device was disconnected in Settings → Integrations, or the account left Pro.
